Planning for our Future

TomKat Ranch, Pescadero, CA Regenerative Grazing Cohort

Engaged with San Mateo County’s Conservation Regenerative Grazing Stewardship Program and TomKat Ranch. We are aligned with rangeland managers, landowners, students, and technical assistance providers in the Bay Area.

The San Mateo Resource Conservation District leads the workshop with partners at TomKat RanchPoint Blue Conservation Science, and California FarmLink. The cohort visits regenerative ranches across the Bay Area and learns from world-class experts on how to manage rangelands in a way that is both economically and environmentally beneficial.

Indonesian Farmer Collective Regenerative Grazing with Verdana provides farmer education through LEAF

Through a mentorship with Zoetic Global’s scientist Chun Pong Ng, we are starting to work with Verdana to teach teens about carbon credits. We also share some regenerative farming research through the San Mateo Resource Conservation District Cohort partnership with TomKat Ranch. Farmers in Indonesia and Timor-Leste are employing regenerative farming practices to obtain carbon credits for better economic opportunities for their countries.
